Hello and welcome!
Many of us are bombarded by so much stimulation all the time that it becomes hard to sort out our feelings, our problems, our goals. Sometimes it becomes difficult to take care of ourselves, let alone others.
I believe that stress is the source of many problems. It can be managed, but in truth it will never go away for any of us.
Too much stress can lead to problems with physical health, causing depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, addictive behaviors and broken relationships.
| I help people build on their strengths because all of us have the capacity to heal and become stronger. The main lesson for many of my clients is learning what they can control and what is beyond their control. They learn to develop the strength and discipline to stop the thoughts that lead to feelings that create even more problems. |

However, before assuming that a problem is purely psychological or due to external stress, I make sure that there is no underlying physical cause that could be the real reason for a problem. I try to work closely with a client's medical doctor to evaluate the mind-body connection as much as possible.
My first goal is to treat my clients as I would like to be treated if the situation were reversed. My second goal is to help them live calmer, more peaceful lives.
Life can be different!
